Mrs. Ruquaiya Bashir - President 

Mrs. Ruqaiya Bashir is a distinguished figure in the field of education, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the helm as the President of Path Educational Society. A retired chemistry professor, she holds an MSc in Chemistry from Aligarh University.

As a founder member of Path Education Society, Mrs. Ruqaiya Bashir has played a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of Rahnuma Public School. Iher legacy includes being the catalyst for introducing the first One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) laptops to Rahnuma. Under her guidance, Rahnuma Public School thrives as an educational institution that not only imparts knowledge but also instills values, creativity, and a passion for learning in every student.

Usama Rehman - Treasurer

Driven by a passion for good quality education, Mr. Usama Rehman's path intersected with Rahnuma one day, leading to a deep and enduring connection. Falling in love with Rahnuma from the first encounter, Mr. Usama Rehman has become an integral part of the school's journey. Upon discovering Rahnuma, he found resonance with its mission, and since then, he has been an ardent supporter and contributor to the school.

Mr. Usama Rehman, a graduate in Textile Science and Technology from the University of Manchester, brings a unique blend of expertise in textiles and a commitment to education. His professional journey includes serving as the Director of Feroze 1888 Mills and engaging in farming in Interior Sindh.

As the Treasurer of Path, Mr. Usama Rehman ensures financial stewardship, aligning resources with the mission of empowering lives through education. 

Mrs. Sabiha Ahsan– Secretary

Mrs. Sabiha Ahsan is a stalwart in the realm of education, holding a Master's degree in Social Work. A lifelong educator, in 2004, Mrs. Sabiha Ahsan took on the significant responsibility of establishing Rahnuma Public School and assumed the role of its Principal. Under her visionary leadership, the school has evolved into a full-fledged High School, boasting a student strength of 520 and a dedicated staff of 54.

Mrs. Sabiha Ahsan's tenure as the Principal has been marked by dedication, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of academic excellence. Her able supervision has been instrumental in the flourishing growth of Rahnuma Public School over the years.

A recent addition to the board of Path, Mrs. Sabiha Ahsan continues to serve as the Principal of Rahnuma Public School. This dual role showcases her unwavering commitment to the cause of education, making Rahnuma her life's work.

Mrs. Kishwer Aziz - Director

Mrs. Kishwer Aziz, a retired banker with over 27 years of distinguished experience in international corporate banking, brings a wealth of expertise to her role as the Director. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce, an MBA, and a PhD in Finance. Additionally, she has completed the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and excellence.

Her transition from the banking sector to the realm of education underscores her deep commitment to the cause of empowering young minds through quality education. In her role as Director, Mrs. Kishwer Aziz has taken on the ambitious task of implementing a world-class curriculum for Rahnuma Public School.

This initiative aligns with her commitment to providing the students with an education that meets the highest global standards. As the Director of Rahnuma Public School, Mrs. Kishwer Aziz plays a pivotal role in driving educational excellence and shaping the institution's future. 

Mr. Omair Rehman - Director

As a Director, Mr. Omair Rehman's commitment to Rahnuma Public School is characterized by a genuine desire to create avenues for quality education, especially for children who face barriers to access. He has a Master's degree from the University of Manchester, has been actively contributing to the betterment of education in Pakistan. 

Through strategic engagement with corporate donors, the business community, and private individuals, he has brought the spotlight to the school's efforts in providing quality education to underprivileged children. In initiating a Career Week at Rahnuma, Mr. Omair Rehman has played a crucial role in exposing students to a myriad of commercial opportunities. By connecting them with professionals and businesses, he has broadened their horizons and inspired them to envision diverse career paths. 

Mr. Omair Rehman has recently spearheaded research initiatives to explore how technology can enhance classroom learning at Rahnuma. By combining awareness-building, technological innovation, and career exploration, he is actively shaping a more comprehensive and impactful educational experience for the students at Rahnuma Public School.

Mr. Majaz Khan – Director

Mr. Majaz Khan, an accomplished international banking executive, brings a wealth of experience to his role as Director at Rahnuma Public School. With an impressive 35-year career at three leading institutions, including the last 8 years in the C-Suite, Mr. Majaz Khan has garnered expertise in various facets of banking and finance.

Highly skilled in managing change and controls in a restructuring environment, Mr. Majaz Khan brings a strategic and adaptive approach to his leadership role. His expertise spans areas such as audit, operational risk, people management, operations and technology, cost control, and general management. Mr. Majaz Khan holds an MBA from Central Michigan University, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and professional development. 

Mr. Majaz Khan's commitment to Rahnuma Public School is underscored by his role as Director. In his capacity as Director, Mr. Majaz Khan contributes to driving positive change, ensuring effective controls, and fostering a culture of excellence at Rahnuma Public School. His multifaceted skills and global perspective align with the school's commitment to delivering a world-class education.

Ms. Hina Shahid – Director

Ms. Hina Shahid, currently serving as the Business Head of HOBO, a prominent ladies' footwear brand, stands as a dynamic force in the fields of marketing, product development, and retail. Hina's professional journey includes significant roles with renowned brands such as Dawood Retail Ltd., Burgundy Designer Footwear, Ideas by Gulahmed, and her current position at URBAN Brands. Her diverse experience has equipped her with the skills to formulate and execute effective brand and business strategies.

Hina holds an MBA from the Institute of Business Management Karachi, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and professional development. Her educational foundation complements her practical experience, providing a well-rounded approach to her leadership role.

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Ms. Hina Shahid has been actively involved in driving awareness of Rahnuma's work through social media campaigns. Her dedication to leveraging digital platforms for social impact aligns with Rahnuma's mission of creating awareness and support for quality education. Her diverse skill set, ranging from business leadership to effective use of social media, contributes to Rahnuma's ability to reach a broader audience and garner support.
