Len Tyler School of Music
The collaboration between Rahnuma Public School and Len Tyler School of Music is fostering a valuable initiative in the realm of education. Together, we are conducting free training workshops for teachers from various schools in Pakistan. Notable partners in this endeavor include Development in Literacy (DIL), SOS, and Korangi Academy. The workshops aim to equip educators with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance music education in schools.
Music Education is exercise for the brain allowing children to develop powerful memory systems, raising their general cognitive capacity and become very comfortable with learning. Studies have also shown that children who have undertaken music education before the age of 7 have higher IQ then children who were not given this opportunity. Literacy and numeracy are both strengthened by music education.
